Message from Emme (Plus-size Supermodel, TV Personality, Author and Body Image expert) to the members of MyWorkButterfly ~

Friends living in the Northern New Jersey Area -
As you know, the disaster in Japan has been the worst natural disaster to date 300B and with over 300,000 immediately homeless people living with out water, babies being delivered without sheets or clean medical supplies, food, toilet paper, to name a few...the conditions are dire, your prayers certainly count!

My daughter, Toby, and I call this area home. We are hosting a multicultural, NYC entertainment celebrity fueled event.  We're whipping together some pretty amazing folks from the Japanese cultural community, national and international hip/hop, jazz, Broadway actors, comedians, NY Philharmonic, Julliard School, The Metropolitan Opera, lower east side bands, and more keep on signing up to show up to speak, shake hands, take pictures, perform, organize, call, or guide from the sidelines, all helps and works for us.  The outpouring of love and support is something I am in awe of and it keeps on coming. 

Event details - 
Location: Northern Valley Demarest High School Auditorium (for now, location may need to change due to ticket numbers)
1-2pm; VIP Champagne Brunch
2-4:30pm; Musical Multicultural Extravaganza

In the meantime, would you be so kind as to sending this email out to all you know who wouldn't mind taping a :15 or :30 sec clip(on Mac or video) and sending it to: Jihoon via email (Shiftgroup5@gmail.com).  Jihoon, our high school video editor (high schoolers from over 5 different schools have all stepped up as many of their families and friends are still in horrendous situation), has this personal request to be used on our website and event:  "If anyone knows anyone personally in Japan or knows anyone who has family members in Japan affected by the earthquake, could you please send any video, or clip of them about their personal experiences/what they are going through right now/what they need?"
