So I finally finished reading the Audacity of Hope. Grade. C-. It was not the worst book that I have ever read, but I did not enjoy it as much as I hoped to. But just like movies, sometimes that second viewing is better because you see more or hear something differently, so I will re-read the book at some point.
I'm currently reading two books. One a Buddhist Philosophy book, more like a way of life acceptance book, by Pema Chodron. I am also reading "The Shack". It is very good and it will make you cry.
I'm reading NurtureShock: New Thinking About Children by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman. It's really interesting. They take some of the things you though you knew about raising kids and gives you some new information that makes you take a second look. They make some really good points. I highly recommend it.
I have not had a moment lately to read anything other than emails and look over training material, etc. I plan to get back to what I enjoy at the start of next month. Just too much going on this month. Thanks for the comments.

I totally understand that. I usually look for interesting books that have short chapters so that I can read when I have a few minutes even if those times are weeks apart. On the days I pick my kids up from school, I try to get there just a few minutes early. Then I miss the traffic and I can have 5 minutes to read something that isn't related to work.
I have finished reading Success in 10 Steps by Michael Dlouhy for the mmmmm umpteenth time. Very informative and Funny. I used it when i wanted to get started in Network Marketing and it has saved me much frustration on how to find the correct 5 Pillar Company to work with. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking to create a second income from home. It is a Free Download and the training is free as well.

yes, am reading on right now ANSWERED PRAYER by DANIELLE STEEL.
Okay so I am re-reading the Audacity of Hope. Will follow-up with my thoughts soon.
I'm reading Good Value: Reflections on Money, Morality and an Uncertain World by Stephen Green. The writer is chairman of HSBC, a large financial company. The book give a history of lessons about how human beings have been juggling between values and business not only through time but through different cultures. He believes as I do that good ethics will bring good business. It challenges people to hold on to your values and help others even if it seems as though the world has abandoned all responsibilities.

The 2nd book is Power of Women by Susan Nolen-Hoeksema. I'm halfway through and enjoyed it very much so far. It is not a book about feminism but about understanding how we interact as women with the world around us.
I am reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Ryben and I LOVE IT!
