HR and Employment

This is a great place for HR, Employers and Recruiters to communicate with moms looking for job opportunities.

What kind of flex-friendly roles do you offer? What is your work culture like? Is it conducive to helping moms manage it all and grow within an organization?  Do you offer telecommuting.

I am in business development for a great fashion house out of NYC. We are currently looking to fill a select number of sales consultant positions in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, as well as in many parts of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Consultants are independent women who enjoy the entrepreneurial opportunity of building a business while maintaining family and social commitments. ETCETERA has a fabulous opportunity for the right woman who loves clothes and working with other women, wants the flexibility to work part-time from home and would like the opportunity to profit financially from her networking ability. This position has great earning potential and tremendous perks - Should you be selected to join our team, you’ll be managing a business from the privacy of your home, yet with an infrastructure of resources, training and tools that are considered the best in the industry! Furthermore, you’ll be representing the largest and best-known organization of its kind in the world.

This independent contractor role is ideal for women who are:
Motivated and well connected
Interested in running her own business
Wanting and needing a flexible work schedule
Someone who enjoys clothes, helping others, and having fun too!

Money Magazine ranked Etcetera as one of the Top 20 companies to work for and in the Top 5 for sales consultant positions that are flexible, family friendly, with excellent growth opportunities and compensation.
For additional information, please visit www.etcetera.com and Philadelphia Wardrobe Consultants on Facebook and email me at etcetera_of_philly@yahoo.com.

Hi Everyone! I am a Life & Career Coach for women. Carol, I see your post in the Forum regarding a Job Club. Is this something that will be doing in 2011, as well? Could you use a Coach on your panel?

Hi, I'm a mum of 3 boys Jaryd 15, Aiden 13, and Logan 11. I live on the mid north coast of NSW in Australia a small coastal village which is just a great location to be working from home. I can take my work down to the beach and work around my 3 beautiful boys which I just love. The business I am in is the direct sales of a Personal Development Program which has not only helped me but my partner and my kids. I also assist other people to reach their potential in all areas of their lives
Look Forward to catching up with everyone

Hi everyone!! I'm new to the group. Would LOVE to get together...virtually or in person (I'm in NY area, too). I work helping comeback moms re-enter the workforce. In fact, I posted a discussion question asking if any of you would be available/interested in serving on a panel one Friday morning in early June. It's for a job club I'm running through a central NJ nonprofit. Your expertise and insight will help the talented and motivated moms in the group to successfully on ramp!

Hi Everyone...I was thinking since we are all in different states, would anyone be interested in a virtual get together? We could do it via Tokbox video chat. It allows up to 20 people to use the service for free. Anyone interested? If so, I will set-up for us.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

I am looking to get back into the work force after being out for about 5 years. I am executive search researcher (candidate identification) and have terrific references. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have maintained a bunch of my contacts so it shouldn't be too hard to get back into it but you never know. Thanks.
