Hey All -

Great to see your posts and learn more about you.  I have boy/girl twins that are now 21 months old.  I also work more than full time running a bachelorette party business and a laser center...and I'm still trying to figure out how to juggle it all.  My toddlers sleep all night (woo hoo) but I don't go to bed till 4am and get up at 8am. Not so good.

Here are some tips that I can share and I'd love to hear from others.  I'm not an expert on managing work and multiples.  I'm just someone who is doing it as best as I can. :)

1. If you have a Type-A personality, you may drop down to an A- or B.

2. Choose a job that is something you love cause you won't feel so horrible when you're away from your babies.

3. GET HELP that will be the best fit for you and your kids

4. Plan special projects to do with your twins when you're with them

4. EAT WELL AND GO TO BED EARLY!!!!

Okay, I'm not following that one but it is probably the most important.  :)

Best to all of you!

Hello,

I'm new to this site and this group and would love to hear about how you work full time and raise twins cause it feels impossible right now!  I have b/g twins that are about to turn 5 months old.  My son sleeps through the night, but my daughter wakes up crying btwn 2-4 every a.m.  By the time I get to work every day I am exhausted and have even resorted to taking cat naps on my yoga mat during breaks.

I love having these two.  I just need to find balance between work and home.  The weekends go by SO FAST!!

Just so overwhelmed with my twin boys. My fiancee has to work 2nd shift and to go along with that one of my twins hasnt had any kind of normal sleep since birth. im a mom that is soo exhausted . I also have a 9 year old boy that needs my attention as well for morning breakfast as well as afternoon home from school homework, reading, trumpet practice , dinner, game night and thank god soccer hasnt started yet. ugh. i have had 8 hours of sleep all week and he hasnt taken a nap either. he had a sleepstudy done and we get the results next wed. so im curious 8what they have to say . I have done everything possible to get him to stay asleep. HELPPPPPP

Having twins is great but they couldn't be more different from one another!

I'm still rather new at the whole thing as my kids are going to be 5 months old this week, but I'm happy to share what I've learned so far and too am open to any advice!

Hello! I am mother to five kids altogether, but my youngest two are 12-year-old fraternal twins, Amanda and Rebecca. They are the lights of my life, my babies.

I completely agree. Multiples are double smiles, double fun, double love and of course DOUBLE TROUBLE!!! How do you handle disciplining twins? I find that I have to seperate them when one is in trouble. If I don't it becomes a giggle session between them and they don't hear a thing I am saying.
