Women more so than Men take the burden of everyday routine or functions more seriously. That is because we are structured to handle more. To take on challenges of the day, to be problem solvers and companions and lovers. It is a know fact that Men are poor Multi-Taskers, it is hard for them to take on more than two projects at a time. But even us Women need to find solace throughout the day, for some type of inner peace, some tranquility, some validity that we are here, that we are more than wife, mother, friend, professional worker and in today's global world, bread winners. Sometimes close friends do not understand what we are trying to say, and sometimes our other half doesn't hear the words. We feel trapped, need leverage, need space, need time. Well all those things can be gotten in one fell swoop including the bathroom. Take a momen and say a Prayer. Give God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit the praise and Glory that they deserve.
Say Goodmorning, Goodevening, Good day, whatever it takes to start your day and talk your troubles, your fears, you anxiety. If you give it over, it is now off your shoulders and into the hands that matters. If you ask for strength, you will receive, if you ask for peace, it will be received, it you ask for miracles, it will be received. Sometimes at your time, most times at the Lords time. Acknowledge who you are. Tell yourself, you are strong, you are beautiful, you are worth it. That is why you are here, because the almight thought that you were worth it. Believe in yourself, and he will believe in you because you have given them honor.

Thank you for this site. Though I usually pray before I begin my day, even times when I am or have gone into a meeting. Just asking both to be there with me in spirit and give me strength, guidance, and love. I know that you can make it through. Be empowered - Pray.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Sharon. These are crazy times. I'm finding that people are working harder simply to survive, but have become discouraged and fearful because of the uncertainty of their situations. What do you do when you've tried all you can think of and just don't know what more you can do? For me - I pray. I confess that I wish I'd get responses to my prayers faster than I often do, but answers definitely do come. Often, not exactly as I had imagined, but many times the outcome is better than I could have expected.
I agree with you - you don't have to bear the burdens yourself - there is One who will take those burdens from you but you have to give them over and we women have difficulty 'letting go.' As a mom, I think this was one of my most challenging lessons - to learn to release my children - like a butterfly! I also agree that if you ask, you will receive, but the Word is quite clear that in order to receive, you have to believe in the One you are asking.
I'm learning that strength, courage, peace and joy are just one prayer away!
Thank for sharing this Sharon...Have a great weekend!
