Wanted to pass on some resources I ran across that might be helpful to some of you. First, two books -- "Ten Easy Steps to a Perfect Resume" and "Ten Steps to Finding the Perfect Job" both by Carolyn Thompson. Also check out Carolyn's blog, www.JobSearchJungle.com. For those of you who have recently lost your job and are looking for some blogs for support, check these out. recentlylaidoff.com, itainteasybeingpink.blogspot.com, and howigotlaidoff.com.

Would love some feedback on what you think of these resources for future reference.

Thanks,

Alicia

Once again, my good friend Alicia has done a stand up job by bringing like minded people together! Last night was great and I came away feeling as though I belong to a new fellowship of women. Thanks to all for sharing. It is so helpful to hear of others thoughts, fears, joys, ideas... makes me feel ......well, normal.

Last night's workshop was invigorating. It's all about helping each other - what great support and energy in that room last night. I am happy to be a part of this. Thank you to all the presenters and to all the participants who so willingly opened up to share their fears and concerns. It's great to know we aren't alone. Now if I can figure out how to adjust my photo so the top of my head is not chopped off, I'll be all set!
