Hi!

I am a colleague of Sam's (see below) at the Etcetera collection serving the NJ/NY area.  We are looking to hire the right women in Monmouth, Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Somerset and Hunterdon Counties in NJ as well as Westchester, Long Island and Manhattan.   I'm a mom with two little boys at home.  After working 15 years in NY's corporate system, I can honestly tell you that this is the BEST job I could have ever imagined.  For me at least.  I love clothes, I love a deal on clothes (sellers get a great deal on the clothes!), I love making my own money and I absolutely love the flexibility and the opportunity to work from home (or the gym, or the car, or at soccer....).

Money Magazine ranked Etcetera as one of the Top 20 companies to work for and in the Top 5 for sales consultant positions that are flexible, family friendly, with excellent growth opportunities and compensation. Pretty impressive.

If you know anyone that may be interested, I'd love the opportunity to speak with them!

Thanks,

Linda Laymon

Hello ladies,

Not even sure how I came across this website, but this is what I have been looking for!  I am a stay at home Mom of 6 kids and working from home.  I joined a team in Sept. that helps Moms like us.  We are partnered with a major wellness company, helping people switch to safer/ healthier products (cleaning products, bath and body, vitamins etc.), and also looking for others that want to do the same.  The things that really appealed to me were, these products are safe, and green.  I don't have to sell, stock, or deliver products!  I just simply refer customers.  If this sounds like something you would like to learn more about you can visit my website www.workathomeunited.com/mistyszoo.  I look forward to connecting with you!

I wish I had a secret, but what helps me is really simple. Making time for yourself no matter what! I attend a weekly bible study for women which keeps me on track spirtually, I work out or go to the gym at least 3 times a week, I take a nice hot bath with a glass of wine and date my husband at least once a week. Everything else seems to fall into place and I am much happier and relaxed!

Having a tough time keeping work and family life separate.  Tips from women who have been WFH for awhile would be helpful.  Can't have a schedule with teenagers when we have late start days and texts to bring forgotten items to the high school.  Tip:  If I bring an item to school, they owe a chore as soon as they come home.  Cruel mom that I am.

Being organized and sticking to a schedule helps me stay focused, balanced and successful. I schedule my time with all the things I need and want to do and always schedule enough free time within my schedule for me. You need plans and goals to be successful. And you need to plan for the unexpected. Sounds like an oxymoron doesn't it? Just keep enough time in your schedule to help move things around if need be. I make menus at the beginning of each week..do my grocery shopping according to my menu. And my menus are usually based on this weeks sales flyers and coupons. Once you get into the swing of things you find much more time for yourself and take alot of pressure off yourself knowing what you need to do and when you are going to do it.
