Did you ever wonder "what if I left" the workforce?

The only time I ever left was maternity leave and a few weeks between jobs. I found it reinforced my desire to be a working mom. I didn't feel like I fit in with playdate, PTA moms. I think its about what is best for you and your family. I am a better mom because I work.

I'm a full time working mom in Sweden. Recently I had the oppurtunity to work from home so i leave my daughter at daycare in the morning and pick her up in the afternoon. I feel blessed to have it like this. I try to go to the office once a week, to meet some collegues, but most of the time I spend at home. I dont feel quilty for having my daughter at daycare, she loves it and that makes me so happy.

In june we going to have a baby, I will stay home for a month a guess and then work a couple of hours a day from home. Lucky me :-)

I work full-time first shift as a cook at a nursing home.  I'm lucky enough to be out to door before my 8-month old wakes up, and come home by 3pm.  My hubby is a SAHD for now, but possibly will be getting a job on Monday.  He'd be working first shift, also, so we are looking into childcare when my parents and in-laws are unavailable to watch her.  Life seems to an endless balancing act/roller coaster ride. :)  As long as I don't get motion sickness, I'm going to have fun!

I'm a working Mom with a SAHD with two boys. I'm now trying to develop my own private practice in the hopes of being able to work fewer hours and be home more. But, I'm new to the business side of things. Just wondering about others' experiences still being in the workplace.

I can definitely relate! I work full time during the day, and my husband works rotating shifts. (Alternating one week of days, one week of evenings) So when he works the evening shift I have no assistance in the evenings for homework, bath time, dinner, etc... It gives me a whole new respect for the single parents wo always have to do it alone.

Yes I can, working full time and trying to start a business is hard enough. Add in all of the beginning of year school activities and it's pull my hair out time. And NOW the kids have to do their homework online! Arggghhh!!!
