A little about yourself...: To keep it short, I am a mother of a 3yr old little girl who is my life. I was laid off in Dec. 08 and since then has been spending my time taking care of my daughter, as well as finding another career path to jump on. I have found that internet marketing is keeping me interested. So as I learn the ins and outs I am also social networking. As well as looking for a new career! If anyone has any ideas for me, I'm open ears!

And, you're doing the right thing exploring stay-at-home/entrepreneurial ventures as well as traditional. Since you have some specific interests, develop a 'target' list - companies that you're interested in, type of positions (and where they fit within organizations) and people that you know who can connect you to possible employers/opportunities. Finding a position can be a full-time position. Butterfly's job board, and other on-line job sites, can lead you to opportunities. Just don't rely on that alone. Networking with friends, former colleagues, neighbors, and in professional associations is a way to connect with potential employers too. Best,
