A little about yourself...: At the age of 51, I'm embarking on a new path on which I plan on getting my RN and fulfill a lifelong dream. My maternal instinct is a driving force in my life and spills over into my professional life. I think nursing will be a good fit for me! I have been raising kids since I was 21 and have a 15 year old son who is at home with me and my husband (his stepdad). My oldest son and his wife, Noah and Pam, are in Durham where they live with their 4 month old baby girl, Maddie. You'll be hearing more about her! My daughter lives in Groton with her new husband and she is about to finish up her bachelors degree in a few weeks. I'm really proud of all of my kids and am constantly in awe of their accomplishments. I am married to a great guy- my number 1 supporter. I love to be outdoors; I run, bicycle and this winter, split and stacked 3 cords of wood. I am exploring Buddhism right now, finding that the practices of the religion are a good fit for me. This is my first experience with a social network and I'm psyched. Looking forward to sharing with you.
