On becoming a SAHM

Posted on March 23, 2010 at 1:41pm 0 Comments

Friday is my last day of work at the office. Next Thursday, our road trip out to Iowa begins. And I will be a Stay At Home Mom, at least for a while.

I never really imagined myself as a SAHM. I worked all through college; I taught elementary school while I worked toward my graduate degree. I feel like I have been preparing for a professional career my whole life and now, at 26, I will be staying home with my little guy. Giuseppe and I made this decision when he decided to…

A Professional Wardrobe

What, exactly, is a professional wardrobe? Here in breezy SoCal, it's more about fashion and Ferragamos than pumps and pantsuits. And I can tell you exactly what it is NOT when you are hauling around gobs of baby weight: easy. It is the opposite of easy. Hi Brandi,
It is great to join this online community. I enjoy sharing my experiences as a new working mom, and, of course, love hearing from other mamas as well. I would love to contribute the conversation in this network. Where is the best place for me to submit blog excerpts?
