A little about yourself...: I am a new mom. Working for 17 yrs. I am currently on maternity leave and will return to work this summer. I am looking to build a network of women who have "been there done that" to give me advice for a smooth transition back to work.

Welcome to Butterfly! You have certainly come to the right place. In fact, there is an already established HR Moms group within the groups section (under members tab). It's a great way for you to connect with moms like yourself.
Spend some time reading the interview under mentor and celebs- they are saturated with "been there done that" stories. Also, watch the many interviews, they were conducted to inspire and mentor.
Congrats on your new baby (some great parenting advice under Resources).
