What is your industry or field of interest?: Accounting, Administrative/Support, Advertising/Marketing/PR, Consulting

A little about yourself...: My educational certification is A B.S. in Speech Therapy and an MA as an LDTC. My job experience is in Sales /Marketing/Finance/Project Management/Operations. As a person making decisions in own business, there isn't a job I haven't done. During the last 30 plus years, I have worn many hats as a sole proprietor acting as a Direct Mail Consultant/List Broker and currently, in a successful business, supplying furniture for science labs, libraries and auditoriums. More recently, the emphasis has been on bringing to the U. S. and Canadian Market a distinctive and modern Library Line of furniture. That being said, I continue to develop an idea focused on women in my spare time while capitalizing on several opportunities that interest me. I have learned to have patience with myself.

Welcome to our Community! Interestingly, I too grew up in Westchester (New Rochelle), spent 29 years in recruitment marketing, married late (35) and moved to Jersey because my hubbie already had condo here at the time. We've since moved to Livingston and found it very hard to meet people for a very long time...but eventually as you said I did through my daughter.

I'm so glad you were inspired by the cover story in 201. It was a fabulous article - they did a great job of telling our story.

It's great that you found a place now that you can network with like-minded moms from all over the world who have the same issues, challenges, victories, etc. For right now, we are online only but we may look to do gatherings (meet-ups) in the near future.

Would love if you would invite in your circle of mom friends/family/colleagues. Also, please feel free to join our Entrepreneurs group and/or start one of your own!
