Truth or Dare:

Truth or Dare: are you a counter-thawer or a fridge-thawer? Heather is, unabashedly, a counter-thawer. And look, I've kept them all alive for this long!

get mad (libs)

I publish a print magazine for mothers (getbornmag.com) It's mouthy, edgy, funny and raw. Yesterday, on Facebook, I asked for parts of speech for a mad lib; I thought you all might get a kick out of it. I directed a Writing Workshop last night on behalf of my friend Keri, founder of The Family Journey.

As I sat planning this workshop, I realized how passionate I am about giving people the confidence and tools to communicate through writing. I'm reading Julia Cameron's "Right to Write" and love her assertion: "Writing is like breathing. I believe that. I believe we all come into life as writers. We are born with a gift for… Continue
