I am a single mother of 5 children (4 girls, 1 boy) 3 of which are college students, 1 a college graduate, and one in vocational school! I recently (about 2 years ago) opened a children's salon (Zayna's Cuts for Kids) with my brother and am there full-time. From my own experience of how difficult is is to be a full-time mom and run a business, I am an avid supporter of female entrepreneurs.
Maisha,
I got an email from Zayna's Cut for Kids for our event on April 28th in New Jersey that you wanted to participate. Please email me at thesassyshopgirlevents@yahoo.com and let me know if you are still participating. Please visit our site at www.thesassyshopgirlevents.com
Sounds like you have a great business! Let me know if you want to collaborate on my line of Candy Cakes. They are great for party favors and center pieces. They also make great birthday presents! Look forward to hearing from you! Lea
That's sounds like a great type of party. If you do similar parties going forward, would I be able to rent space to display my products? This is the site I represent: www.dollsclothes-emilyrose.com/margaretrogers. I would distribute flyers and such in my area (Monmouth County).
I just noticed it's your birthday, Happy Birthday.
What are glamour parties? I'm trying to hook up with a salon to do little girl/doll makeover days. I'm building a business selling doll clothes and furniture and I thought a makeover day topped off with a cute new outfit for the doll would be nice. There could also be a rep there from a children's boutique and the girl and doll both could get new outfits.
Hi Maisha! Would love to speak to you about your children's salon. Michele (Jerzey Girl Moms) and I have a networking club for women - "Are You a B-Girl?" - check out our web site -www.areyouabgirl.com. My daughter and I have a business in West Orange - Calm Baby RN Learning Center (www.calmbabyrn.com). Alisa (my daughter) is an RN, OB/GYN nurse and a lactation consultant. I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula. Sounds as though we may be able to collaborate a bit. Would love to get to know you! Pam

I think that I met you yesterday at the Project Ladybug Fundraiser. I was selling the Ladybug teeshirts. I commented on your headbands!
I'm working on my beauty newsletter for all of my butterfly sisters out there!

Wishing you all the best for a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!
Enjoy the day!
