A little about yourself...: I have been a part time freelance writer and photographer for the past 9 years. In that time I have been fortunate enough to have my work featured in dozens of local and regional publications, grace the cover of several magazines and included in Goldendoodles: A Kennel Club Designer Dog Series book. I have also garnered recognition from Writer's Digest (a two-time award recipient in the Top 100 Feature Writers Competition) and ePhotozine. My passion is creative travel journalism and young adult fiction- I have a manuscript ready for editing and am actively seeking an agent. Now that my kids are (practically) self-sufficient I am ready to broaden my horizons -spread my wings- and delve more fervently into the career of writing and photography.

Starting a Blog - am I fashionably late?

I started a blog today. I don't know if I would go as far as to say it is a New Year's resolution because that would only be setting myself up for failure ( I am finally paying attention to behavior patterns I've been watching in myself for decades.)
