- I am a mom of a 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy. I was an Olympic swimmer in the '92 Games and then went onto TV work. Both of my careers (sports and TV) have been amazing but the joy I get out of watching my kids play and grow-up is off the charts. I love working part time...think I am a better mom for it.

Why does Mother Nature tease me so?

I know it is a weird weather season. I also know I should not be
complaining as many people are dealing with devastation because of the
floods. But I will say this. I was teased by Mother Nature. We were
outside enjoying the sunshine and a wonderful bike ride on Sunday and
Monday. The weather was warm and gorgeous and the kids were loving
every second of it. And on Wednesday we were hit with 2 feet of snow
and the worst blizzard of the season. On March 31st? Why,… Continue
