There are many ways to market your business, depending on on how large your marketing budget is. One suggestion is to join some organizations that represent entreprenuers such as yourself. I live in Nebraska and have found Grow Nebraska a great place for networking, they linked me to their site, and they have facebook too. There must be a group similar in New Jersey. Do you do most of your business through your site? Then you need to direct people to the site, you can do that through social media, you can start a business page in facebook, facebook ads, twitter and word press. You might look for home decorating in facebook, and see if it is okay to post your website, and or blog on similar website too. Putting a ad in your local newspaper or on your newspapers website may spark some interest too. Or if your newspaper would happen to have a home decorating publication they run every year, would be a good spot for you. Also local shows, such as a home show, or a local festival. They can be some work, but can also spark your local crowd too. Be sure to have some business cards or brochures handy with your website on it, and some samples or something to interest the show crowd. Good luck and keep me posted.
