A little about yourself...: I am married to a wonderful husband, have a three year-old son who is great and until two weeks ago worked full-time for a financial firm.

Aside from that "bump in the road", I love my life and I do love to work.

Regarding your path, you can now use this time to evaluate what you want. Depending on your urgency to return to the workforce, you can decide if you want to continue to use the same skills, work in the same industry or decide to explore transitioning in to a new area or field. I would encourage you to think about what your needs are currently. If it is getting back to work as soon as possible, the easiest route will most likely be searching for a similar role as your most recent position. You will want to use your network to assist you, as well as internet job listings and Butterfly's job board. If you do have flexibility, you can consider a career change. What areas interest you? What skills/talents would you like to use? Would you like to train in another field or go back to school? There is no one correct path.
