How Many Children Do You Have?
A little about yourself...and how can we help you
I have been blessed to be a stay at home mom during most of my 12 years of motherhood. I have five wonderful children ages 12 to 4 years old, four of which are boys. One of my sons struggles with high functioning autism and I have learned a lot about so many things in dealing with the trials that come from his struggles. This past spring, I finally finished my Associates Degree! I plan on finishing my Bachelors through online schooling. In the meantime, I am growing a successful direct sales business as an Independent Consultant with Scentsy wickless, flameless candles and I love love love the training aspect of my job! In my past life I danced a lot and loved to mountain bike and scuba dive- all things I really would like to return to. For now, I am content with refereeing, waitressing, and juggling- all within the confines of my own home! When I get a chance, I do love to read, take Zumba classes at the local YMCA, and sleep (gotta fit that in somewhere!).

Does it make a difference when to join a direct sales company?

Posted on October 2, 2009 at 1:15am 0 Comments

For the most part, when you join a seasoned direct sales company doesn’t make a huge difference. Some consider joining before the fall selling season to be a good choice. Other’s say get in while things are slow so you can be comfortable in your business before the busy season. The reality is the choice is up to you. Do you want to give yourself time to feel comfortable in your business before you potentially have several parties a week? Are you able to just jump in and run with a new business?… Continue

Now that I have this direct sales business, what do I do with it?

Posted on October 2, 2009 at 12:53am 1 Comment

Starting a direct sales business may seem like an easy thing to do, especially if it’s through a party plan company. All a new consultant (distributor, representative, etc.) has to do is have parties and then order the product. And who doesn’t want to have a party? Unfortunately, for too many in the direct sales industry it’s just not that simple. And even more unfortunately, the consultants that are sometimes highlighted for success don’t even really understand how they got there in the first… Continue

My Nanny is a Four Year Old....

Posted on September 18, 2009 at 1:46am 0 Comments

With five kids and all but one in school during the day, my youngest tends to get quite bored. I’ve already blogged once about the things he does when my back is turned (mixing “special ingredients” i.e. lemonade and Gatorade powders, on the patio). He doesn’t get into quite as much trouble when he is occupied in a social way. But, as a work at home mom (that means I have daily household chores and a home based business) I just don’t have the time to entertain him all day. So I’ve learned to… Continue

Please Join Me in Helping Small Business With Scentsy Contribute 2009

Posted on September 17, 2009 at 1:21am 0 Comments

Helping small businesses one at a time, one person at a time. That's what Scentsy Contribute 2009 is all about.

I recently finished working at the Western Idaho State Fair. I had so many people come up to me to thank Scentsy for what they did for local small businesses in the community. I was honored as an independent consultant to take the thank you's and compliments in behalf of Scentsy and plan to pass those on to the company. Why would so many people come up to me in our booth at… Continue
