- I am the proud homeschooling momma of two wonderful little boys. I just started event planning for Gold Parties and I love it. It allows me to have the freedom of setting my own schedule so I can be around for my two boys. I am also a singer and perform for weddings, corporate parties, and any special occasion every weekend. As, a single mom, there is never a dull moment, and time cannot be taken for granted. I wish to teach my children that although circumstances are sometimes not ideal, we can continue to create a better situation for ourselves by taking responsibility and keeping our priorities in order. Working 9-5, and on the weekends, left little time for the boys and I to spend together. I had to get creative and although its not easy, creating your OWN life is definitely more rewarding.
