Let me start by saying that this is my very first blog post…ever. I hope this is the start of what turns into a wonderful outlet where we can discuss current topics that are relevant to the daily lives of many of you out there. I often speak about how I do not have the “I’m done” gene when it comes to babies. Whenever I have a newborn, I think, “Yeah, I could do this one more time”. The problem is, I say that EVERY time – whether it’s baby #1 or baby #6.
As a result of my gene-lacking…Continue

I've always known that working for someone else was a temporary thing....but after 16 years in the workforce working for someone else I didn't know when that day would come. As a wife and a mother of a 15 year old and a 3 year old I just can't pick up and leave a job because I don't want to work for someone else. So I decided that I would begin the process by becoming an independent Lia Sophia Advisor. I know it's not a unique service that I am providing however I've found it to be a very…Continue

My whole Healthy Italian brand is based on staying healthy and fit, but I just wanted to write an easy, go-to blog that can help anyone get started on this path.
First, you really need to be grateful for your body and let go of all the negative talk and unrealistic goals. Be proud of yourself that you want to make a positive change and be grateful for what you already have. It all begins with your attitude and mindset.
Second, take a look at how you are feeding…

Getting out of my apartment in the morning is nothing short of a miracle. I have to get myself ready, my 8 month old daughter up, dressed, and fed, and my husband up. Not to mention put my daughter in a place where I can see her while I’m cleaning the…Continue

The parking spots designated as "Handicapped Only" are filled as usual. I slow down as I spot a woman coming out of the sport center. I would not have guessed that one of the vehicles parked in the sacred "H" zone belong to this red faced, sweaty, floral leotard clad woman. She obviously had just come from an exercise class of one sort or another and is walking without the assistance of cane, walker, crutches, or cast. I'm familiar with this scene. Small sports cars or large hydraulically…Continue

1) Learn what your customer cares most about. Price? Commitment? Service? Ask open-ended questions and then listen until she’s finished speaking. Trying to address every issue immediately may have you answering the wrong questions.
2) Get creative. Sure,…Continue
