Butterfly's 2009 Mom Members of the Year. Everyday moms doing extraordinary things:

Malaak Compton-Rock, Philanthropist of the Year, Founder of the Angel Rock Project, mother and wife to Chris Rock, generously opened up her home to host the launch of Butterfly some 11 months ago in support of our mission to empower and inspire mothers across the globe. Malaak continues to open up her heart every day as she champions for children and social responsibility.

Sabrina Kuratana, Mother of three and Founder of the NJ chapter of Free Cakes for Kids, a national not-for-profit organization that was started in Georgia with the belief that every child deserves a birthday cake. Free Cakes for Kids serve, via volunteer efforts, children that through no fault of their own have found themselves in poverty, shelters and/or foster care. Sabrina puts smiles on the faces of children where they belong.

Emme, Single mom, breast cancer survivor, first plus-sized supermodel, recent host of Fox's More to Love. Emme embraces her commitment to her work as a body image and self esteem advocate for grown women and their daughters. Her views have set a refreshingly new standard of beauty across the globe.

Susan Burg is an 18 year veteran of the cardiac operating room who raised her daughter solo since she was 13 months (now a college student). Susan is a self-proclaimed workaholic and currently a real estate agent who personally and proudly helps single parents and veterans find homes.

Kelly Gump, Mother of two and a military spouse. Kelly holds a BS in zoology and a masters in education. Kelly now works as an online tutor and local mentor to new teachers and is a testament to her belief that she can be a full-time mom and work too.

Sneak peak into 2010 Mom Members of the Year:

Dina Manzo, Mother, Founder of Project Ladybug and star of the Real Housewives of NJ. Watch Dina's exclusive interview with Butterfly in January as she reveals what it's like to spearhead a not-forprofit foundation for children living with cancer, guide her daughter through dating and dances and appear on Bravo's hit TV Housewives series. She is a reality star on a mission: to spread her mission in helping sick kids to feel just a little less sick.
We could go on for days highlighting and recognizing the amazing efforts you have all made in and out of your homes.

Thank you for what will be one of the most memorable years of our lives as Butterfly turns one on January 15, 2010. Our New Year's resolution to you:We promise to continue to bring you the resources you need in order to succeed, to entertain, to inspire and to empower you on your journey.

Wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous, New Year.
