Earth Day 2009!!! My hour was spent... Please comment me back about your experience.

My hour was spent...

Last night, I turned off all the lights in my house in honor of Earth Day 2009. Right before I was on the computer working on my portfolio for my websites. Plus I'm trying to give back in my own way with starting a cause that will be a variety of things I like to do for volunteer work. Of course, anyone that is interested in joining and if you live close by donate your time in order for us to have a better tomorrow.

I guess I do not stress to much over global warming. That is stuff of tomorrow and I really try to enjoy each day that I'm here on Earth. Every time that I think about our planet I get that awwwww feeling. Its amazing how well God design it. I believe He is the best graphic design artist on Earth.

So its 8:23 and I turn off my computer and my father looks at me with this pout on his face. He than proceeded to ask me if he had to turn off the TV. I informed him that no he doesn't have to do anything that he did not want to. I then when on to tell him I was turning off all the lights including my computer. He than goes OH ALRIGHT...I will turn off the TV. I was so proud of him. I was proud but than I realize he was the one that got me started on being Earth conscious with recycling cans, paper, plastic, etc. Its so important that we all be conscious of our surroundings. Not only is it destroying our Earth slowly but its not good for anyone to have to look at it. I'm a very visual person as most of my friends are aware.

My question to all my friends was how did you spend your hour??

I spent the first part of the hour just chatting with my father. The remaining thirty minutes, I'm sad to say was spent on twitterberry. Twitterberry is an application for blackberry's.

I'm in such a good mood! I hope it last before Humpty comes tumbling down again. Such is life!!
