Entrepreneurship. The answer to a $hitty job deficit?! - Weekly Wings

I ripped an article out of the New York Postlast week so that I could reiterate the growing job sectors anticipated for 2012-2020: Retail sales +70%, Home Health Care +69% and Registered Nurses +58%.  The financial services field and the information technology arena- not so rosy of a future.  In turn, does this mean that the unemployed population will be fighting for lower-paid employment opportunities (many of which are being taken by the 55+ set who are far from retirement)? It appears so.  Some economists go on to admit that complete employment will not be restored for another two to three years!

Having said that, there was nothing mentioned in the article about the growth of entrepreneurship.  A woman told me this morning that she is working to become a certified personal trainer.  “Good for you!”  I replied and good for the others who refuse to fall victim to this gloomy picture.

I urge you to help one another out. Employ one another. Teach, guide and mentor one another through the pages of MyWorkButterfly.com.  Consider an Event Planning career or become a certified yoga teacher! Think out of the box… According to Dorothy Tannahilll-Moran, Butterfly’s Career Coach, “As our economy continues to struggle, many young professionals are finding success by taking an entrepreneurial approach to their career development. They are, in effect, taking a “CEO” attitude to their careers.” Join Dorothy for a FREE teleseminaron February 21, 2012 so that you can harness your abilities and finally, take action!
