going back to college
hey every one i am recently going back to college to get my degree in pychology. It is really hard now since we only got one income coming in. I am over whelm allthe time. My husband works off so he is gone all the time and its hard to try to go to school, help my twelve year old, and run after a four year old. I would love to work from home in my spare time if i ever get any spare time,but i don't want to have to pay money especially alot of money to get a job from home. what should I do. I feel so tired all the time but i ready for my degree for my children can have someone to look up to.

Hi Cassie,
Do you have a community college in your area? If so, you might consider going there to meet with someone in the Psychology Dept. Perhaps you want to consider enrolling in one class- to get your feet wet, meet other students, gain access to resources the college offers (library, Dept. heads, other student in your situation!) My personal experience is that one step at a time can often help work me work my way through overwhelming situations. (Of which I have experienced many!!!) Good luck! Ann

Hang in there.
Why don't you look into online universities to get your degree? I know Aspen University offers great online programming. Ask the WAHM for advice and look to lean on friends/family to help out with the kids.
Try talking directly with Julie Cohen, our Resident Career Counselor who can be accessed from the home page. She may be able to suggest other options and/or check our national job board for at home opportunity.
Remember, you are a wonderful inspiration to your children.
