Heart Health for Women - Anyone want to learn CPR ? Boston-area!

Hello Everyone!

Throughout the years my world has been touched by heart disease. Years ago I lost my father and two years ago lost a dear friend, whose death at the age of 46 caused me to relook at my overall health. I've made some lifestyle changes, make better choices and am now more confident in my overall heart health. Being the number 1 killer of women in America, its important for all of us to take a moment, a deep breath, and be thankful for this core organ in our bodies.

For quite some time I've wanted to take a CPR class but never carved out the time to actually do it. Recently though I was introduced two organizations that have my moon and stars in alignment to finally take action. First is the Red Cross. A familiar name to all of us provides an incredible amount of support on an national and international level for a variety of health issues. In speaking with a local representative, I was amazed at the number and diversity of their course offerings. Secondly, I was introduced to Sister to Sister, a non-profit organization that provides FREE heart health checks on women at their periodic health fairs at locations throughout the country. They have saved lives through their dedication to educate women. Both organizations are truly amazing!

So here's my thing... I would like to take a CPR class and would like to invite you to join me! If any of you live in the Boston-area and would be interested in attending a training class, I am, for now gauging interest to see who and how many folks out there would be interested. This is training we hope we'll never have to use but will have the skill for that just in case situation. Please let me know if you're interested.
