Step Ups:

Place one foot on a step or stair.


Step up onto it and lift opposite knee as high as possible.
Return to starting position. Repeat x 15-25 and again on other leg.


This exercise uses all the large muscle groups in the legs and glutes, which in turn raises the heart rate. This means you get a great cardio workout while toning the whole lower body!
If you don’t have a step or stair, a bench in the park is a good substitute.
