Mrs Southern California places 1st Runner up to Mrs California United States

Burbank, CA:

The most beautiful women from across the state of California competed for the title of Mrs. California United States 2010 this past weekend at the Falcon Theatre in Burbank. Irvine Resident and Mrs. Southern California, Shana Smith, was awarded 1st Runner Up along with the Civic Award recognizing her outstanding community service and Mrs. Photogenic.

Shana is an Army Wife, Mom, and works full time in the healthcare industry. She has been volunteering for the past 7 and a half years promoting her platform, Domestic Violence Awareness. As a survivor of domestic violence she feels that it’s important for women to see how life can be after a violent relationship and wants to help people, both men and women, avoid those violent relationships. Mrs. Smith is also very actively involved with Breast Cancer Awareness, currently training for her 3rd Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and will be walking 39.3 miles in September.

The Mrs. United States Pageant Organization, “The Premiere Pageant for Married Women”, is a 24 year institution celebrating women that are successful, articulate, community service-oriented, as well as beautiful….a “Complete Woman, Total Beauty”.

Mrs. California United States is produced by Mrs. United States 1999, Janice McQueen-Ward (niece to legendary Steve McQueen).
